President Trump Decides to Stop Funding for World Health Organization (WHO)


Coronavirus epidemic has caused worldwide outrage. Countrieslike America, Britain, Spain, France, Italy, China are struggling badly and are losing thousands of deaths daily due to COVID-19. The World Health Organization (WHO) regretted the funding stopped by the US.


WHO director general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said, "We regret President Trump's decision to stop the WHO fund." US funding to the World Health Organization is reviewing the impact on work. We will try to make up for this by working together with our allied countries.

After this, on Tuesday, Trump stopped financial aid to the World Health Organization (WHO). The American President has accused the United Nations (UN) health institution of not properly handling the threat of corona virus.


Former President Jimmy Carter said, I am distressed by the decision to withhold critically needed US funding for the World Health Organization, especially during an international pandemic.

The WHO failed at responding to the pandemic and covered for China’s lies as they suppressed information about COVID-19. The world has now been turned upside down &made the right call to hold taxpayer funding until they are in a position to get their job done.

The President plans to release new guidelines that tell states they can lift stay-at-home orders and ease social distancing; but several governors have said that their states are nowhere near opening.

In the US Corona virus killed about 2,600 people within the last 24 hours, the highest number of people who have died of this infectious disease in any country.
